My Mediasite and Students at ECU!
ECU's College of Allied Health Sciences adopted My Mediasite's Desktop Recorder (MDR) almost as soon as it was available for faculty-generated content. During fall semester, a faculty member chose to extend My Mediasite to students for a final project that included a video reflection on one topic covered that semester. Jean and Jarrett share various tips, foibles and other details on how ECU successfully extended My Mediasite for student use.
Jean Merenda, Director Office of Educational Technology, East Carolina University - College of Allied Health Sciences, Jean is the Director of the Office of Educational Technology (OET) at East Carolina University, College of Allied Health Sciences. She has worked with Mediasite since August 2006 when the College moved into new facilities and adopted Mediasite as its lecture capture system. OET handles all aspects of recording, classroom, mobile and desktop as well as supporting faculty and students with the university’s LMS, webconferencing, videoconferencing and projects ad hoc!
