Effectively Lighting Your Scene, Webcast or Event
In this interactive session Chris and Maggie share fundamental best practices for lighting any scene. They'll demonstrate the effect different lighting equipment and techniques have on your video production. From an economical LED kit or compact fluorescent soft-box to a production-level Fresnel kit, you’ll learn first-hand how to light videos and events like a pro in both a semi-permanent studio setting and a temporary remote production.
Chris Richter, Producer/Director, City of Madison Information Technology Media Team, Chris started working for the City of Madison in 1989 for what was known as CitiCable 12. He got his foot in the door by working with studio lighting and remote productions. Over the years he has expanded into virtually all areas of production performed by the Madison City Channel or IT-Media. Originally from Milwaukee, Chris has moved around the state of Wisconsin while growing up, but has truly become a Madison resident and put down roots since going to college at the UW-Madison.
