Using Mediasite to Improve Rural Access to Healthcare Coverage: A Virtual Tour of The Safetyweb Network

The Safetyweb Network uses Mediasite to help rural critical access hospitals collaborate and promote improved access to health care coverage for patients. Organized by ABC for Rural Health, Inc., the staff partner to produce, film and distribute short, timely webcasts on health coverage topics unique to the rural health care service providers. Well prior to filming, staff conduct self-assessments of all training participants to measure existing health coverage knowledge and where gaps exist. Staff then creates content to help fill the gaps and raise the collective knowledge of the Network. Brynne and Bobby provide a virtual tour of how they incorporate Mediasite into their overall training approach and shares how they create engaging content with closed captions, analytics, interactive polling, moderated Q&A and more.
